Grand Seiko SBGW317
The Grand Seiko SBGW317, released on Friday, February 7, 2025, is essentially the same as the SBGW297, SBGW299, SBGW291, SBGW293, and SBGW289: a compact (36.5mm), comfortable, hand-wound stainless steel watch. These watches are part of the Heritage Collection and belong to the 44GS family. While the 9S64 caliber lacks the innovative double impulse escapement, dual mainspring barrels, and higher frequency (10 bpm) of the new 9SA4 introduced in 2024, it remains an exceptional movement.
